Moein Nodehi is Founder and CEO of Biotonomy, a holistic & nature-based approach to buildings & cities to address the climate and biodiversity emergency. He is a groundbreaking nature-based designer using principles that go beyond passive & green-building certification standards. With an international network, he works to accelerate the transformation to autonomous development with nature-based solutions.
About the talk: Moein will share his amazing background and experience designing and leading sustainable buildings and projects around the world and how nature-based solutions help develop resilience in society and specific communities.

Location: Qualicum Bay, Vancouver Island, British Columbia, Canada.
Who we are and what our project is about: We are Tony and Susan Doig, we live on Vancouver Island in Canada, and we’re passionate about sustainability. With our children grown and no longer living at home we are looking forward to the next phase of our lives: retirement with grandchildren!
Our goal is to grow and support a community for intentional building. The Doighouse Learning Center will be used as a learning space for sustainability, intentional building, food security and other related topics. Our Earthship inspired home is currently under construction with the help and support of many volunteers both local and international.

Nuestro objetivo es crecer y apoyar una comunidad de construcción intencional.
Earthship Doighouse está actualmente en construcción con la ayuda y el apoyo de muchos voluntarios tanto locales como internacionales.
Una vez terminada, el aula interior de Doighouse Earthship se utilizará como espacio de aprendizaje para la sostenibilidad, la construcción intencional, la seguridad alimentaria y otros temas relacionados.

La Silla: Un taller sobre comunidad y arte ha sido invitado por el festival de Teatro de Pune.
El taller se centrará principalmente en la relación entre las artes y la comunidad. Está dirigido principalmente a personas que tienen una relación directa con organizaciones sociales y asociaciones artísticas y que trabajan con discapacidades, personas mayores y personas con movilidad reducida.

La Silla: A workshop on community and art has been invited by the Pune Theater festival.
The workshop will focus primarily on the relationship between the arts and the community. It is aimed mainly at people who have a direct relationship with social organizations and artistic associations and who work with disabilities, the elderly and people with reduced mobility.
